Your Second Visit to Our Milbank Practice

Dr. Micko prepares a report.

Your second visit will be a report on the findings in your case.  We encourage you to bring someone with you to support you in your care.  Often times, the doctor will go over a lot of things in a short period of time, many of them new and different than what you’ve heard before, so it’s nice to have an “extra set of ears” along with you.

By the time the doctor is finished with the report, you should have a very clear picture as to what is wrong with you, what caused it to get that way, how we can help, how long it is going to take, and what is going to happen if it isn’t fixed.  You will be given plenty of opportunity to ask questions as well.  At this point, you will be given a choice as to how you’d like to proceed with your care.

Going over finances with one of our Milbank patients.

Following the doctors portion of the report, our Financial Officer will explain your finances as it pertains to your care.  If you will be submitting your charges to an insurance company, she will have contacted them to find out what your responsibility will be based on the information provided from them.  Our Milbank office is a provider for most major insurance plans as well as Medicare and Medicaid.  We also treat a great deal of workers compensation injuries and personal injuries related to accidents.  Once you have all of your questions answered, we will begin your care!

Dr. Micko Asks some important questions of interest to Milbank residents - Chiropractor Milbank Dr. Micko Asks...

How come medical doctors don't recommend chiropractic?
That's changing. Years of prejudice and bias are giving way to research showing the benefits of chiropractic care. As more and more Milbank folks seek alternatives to drugs and surgery, more and more medical practitioners are referring their patients to chiropractors.
Why do so many drugs require a prescription?
Because they can be dangerous? I chose a chiropractic career specifically because it avoids artificial means of pain relief. Our Milbank chiropractic practice attracts health-conscious families that prefer a safe and natural solution. Ready to get started? Call our office today.
